Selected work / Alterra Bills

From business need
to operating reality.

How I frame problems, make tradeoffs, and align teams across a payments platform.

01 / Partner ecosystemOngoing product responsibility

Make integration delivery a shared priority.

New biller and partner integrations compete with changes to existing connections and day-to-day support. A queue alone does not explain what should ship next or what is blocking it.

My role
Align commercial, operations, and engineering needs; clarify requirements, sequence work, and follow dependencies across integration teams.
Product decisions
Distinguish new integrations, existing-integration changes, improvements, and support. Make ownership and blockers visible in weekly prioritization.
What success means
Predictable delivery, fewer stalled handoffs, and integrations that are ready for operational use.
02 / Reconciliation & settlementProduct definition / proposed workspace

Turn month-end reconciliation into a governed workflow.

Spreadsheet-based settlement brings together multiple data sources, adjustments, evidence, and approvals. Differences become hard to trace across periods and teams.

My role
Define the product requirements for a monthly settlement workspace with Operations and Finance process owners.
Product decisions
Keep source snapshots, explicit difference categories, ordered approvals, and an audit trail. Scope the first version around monthly settlement rather than rebuilding every reconciliation process.
What success means
Less active handling time, traceable outstanding differences, and a closing process that teams can review with confidence. Rollout outcomes are not yet claimed.
03 / Core platform & dataOngoing product responsibility

Make transaction behavior easier to operate and explain.

Pricing, routing, transaction status, and reporting span multiple systems. Unclear definitions create friction for both delivery teams and the people operating the platform.

My role
Translate operational needs into requirements across Core, Integrations, and Data; align scope, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
Product decisions
Work across API consolidation, pricing automation, routing controls, final-status visibility, and consistent latency measurement. Prioritize changes around the workflow they improve.
What success means
Reliable transaction workflows, actionable operational signals, and consistent data for investigation and decision-making.

Selected examples describe my product scope and approach. Success measures below are evaluation criteria, not claims of achieved results.

Beyond the roadmap

Engineer by training.
Operator by instinct.
Always curious.

I studied Engineering Management at ITB, graduating cum laude. Since then, I have worked across gold retail, insurtech, and B2B payments.

I care about clear thinking, useful automation, and teams that can tell the truth about what is not working. Lately, I have been building AI-assisted operating systems for product work, because good tools should give people more room to think.
